Last night we went to a farewell party of our friend, dominique, in a vespa repair shop! Homemade pizza, homemade ice tea on recycled glass jars, vespas and candles all around… It was really nice.
The guy who owns it, Tony, was there too.He must be about 75, but hes so sweet. He describes himself as an adventurer and explorer!
Doms parting words to me and my brother have been in my mind since then:
“Don’t let anyone else influence who you are, be yourself in Christ, because that is the perfect person to be.”
and also: “You guys are so cool. You’re just THERE, these random germans!”
I think I like that. Random Germans.
OTHER exciting news is that I have a guitar for the next 6 months! Our friend Olga, who has probably taught me the most about gituar, is leaving it with me while she is going to India. Black, acoustic, steel string.. and best of all, temporarily MINE!
Pictures of everything will follow as soon as I can get away from a windows, to an apple computer!
Random German is off to play guitar as the sun sets.
Luzie! I would love your help for Project Herro! Email me at kym@herrohachi.com for more details
